Just recalling our initial activity as the LHC Class of 2006, at which we had an opportunity to hear from Dennis Dawes, the CEO of Hendricks Regional Health, about how lucky we here in Hendricks County are to have our friends at HRH help us meet our medical needs. And as we all learned that night, HRH is more of a partner in our communities than simply as a medical service provider. I got to see that firsthand yet again last week, and I thought I'd send some kudos to Anne Miller and all of her colleagues at that wonderful institution.

We were treating a patient who was very ill and unable to get a card for his wife for their anniversary. The therapists talked to him at length about what kind of card he wanted to give to his wife and then went and purchased it for him. Can you imagine someone doing that for you in another health care facility? All I can say is WOW!!!!
