Treat People Better Awards & Auction

award

The 2010 Treat People Better Awards & Auction event will be held on Saturday, November 6 at the Colts Pavilion in the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center.

Donations of auction items and sponsors are appreciated and accepted through September. The 2010 Treat People Better Event will be a sell-out! Make plans now to attend! Tickets may be purchased on the Foundation's website.

Proceeds from this dinner and auction benefit individuals served by Hendricks Regional Health. The Foundation builds healthier families by supporting the needs of Hendricks County's only nonprofit health system, Hendricks Regional Health. Foundation funds support community health screenings, college scholarships for Hendricks County students to pursue health care careers, and other important hospital programs that help improve patient comfort, safety and medical care.

Bobbi Gray, RN, a care coordinator for Partners in Care, was the winner of the 2009 award. So many Hendricks County residents need healthcare but are unable to afford it. As part of its mission, Hendricks Regional Health provides a free and reduced-fee clinic called Partners in Care. Bobbi knows first-hand how important this clinic is to the community, and offers her nursing skill and emotional support in the clinic and beyond. She created a child bereavement program and was instrumental in bringing to Avon an Angel of Hope statue dedicated to parents who have lost a child. Congratulations to Bobbi as the 2009 award winner!
